Google Sheets now syncs with Notion.

Two-way sync between one tab of a spreadsheet and a Notion database. Pick the spreadsheet and the tab, map your columns, and start syncing. The setup guide walks through each step.

• Columns become properties. Text, numbers, dates, checkboxes, and dropdown lists map to the matching Notion property types. You set the sync direction column by column.
• Formulas stay formulas. Formula columns sync into Notion and are never overwritten. A value typed in Notion that starts with = lands in the sheet as text.
• Rows stay linked. A hidden, protected 2sync ID column ties each row to its Notion page, so sorting, inserting rows, and renaming headers do not break the sync. An optional Notion Link column holds the page URL.
• Deletes are opt-in. Row deletion is off by default, and clearing a row's cells never counts as a delete.
• Only the spreadsheets you add. 2sync opens the spreadsheets you add to an automation and nothing else in your Google Drive.

Good to know: each automation syncs one tab, up to 10,000 data rows. If the same column changes on both sides between two syncs, the Notion value wins. The column reference lists every supported type.

Microsoft To Do now syncs with Notion.

Two-way sync between a Notion database and your To Do lists. Connect your Microsoft account, pick a database, map your fields, and start syncing.

• Everything on the task syncs. Title, notes, due date, start date, reminder, importance, categories, and status flow both ways. Completion date, creation date, and a link back to the task land in Notion.
• Steps come along. Checklist items from To Do appear in Notion as text, one per line. Edit them in To Do; changes made in Notion do not write back.
• Pick the lists you want. Sync one list or several, and choose which list receives tasks created in Notion. The built-in Tasks list is the default.
• Flagged email included. Emails you flag in Outlook show up in Notion as tasks. That list is read-only, so Notion cannot add to it.
• Filters that fit tasks. Filter by title, list, importance, status, or category, and set how far back and ahead to sync.

Good to know: due and start dates in To Do are days, so only the reminder carries a time. My Day, Important, and Planned are views rather than lists, so they do not appear as sync targets.

Syncs recover from more problems on their own, and you have more ways to fix the rest yourself.

What changed since spring:

• Fix a broken sync without support. Sync Now is now available on an automation that paused itself after repeated errors. Google and Microsoft connections have a Reconnect button on the Connections page, and one reconnect repairs every automation on that connection.
• Bigger relations. Relation and People properties now sync up to 100 linked items per page, up from 25.
• Large databases stop safely. When a Notion database goes past Notion's 10,000-result limit, the sync pauses and tells you, instead of silently skipping items.
• Moved and orphaned pages heal themselves. A page moved to another database, or a relation pointing at a deleted page, no longer blocks the sync.
• Your field mappings stay put. Re-syncing an automation keeps the mappings you set, and the mapping selector no longer hangs after you pick a property.
• Deletion protection double-checks first. Before pausing an automation for too many deletions, 2sync verifies each item is really gone. A calendar or list that comes back empty for a moment no longer wipes your selection.
• Filters and default values. The dashboard warns you when a filter excludes a default value, and restores the default once the filter changes.
• Provider fixes. Recurring Todoist tasks keep their schedule when you edit the due date from Notion. Busy Gmail mailboxes no longer flip between sync errors. Group calendars in Google Calendar no longer create duplicate events.

Also in this release:

• Help inside the dashboard. Open the help panel from any page to ask a question, browse the docs, or send us a message without leaving 2sync.
• Billing. Download past invoices from the billing page, and see a banner with a direct link to fix things when a payment fails.
• Notification preferences you change from an email footer now match what the dashboard shows, and the other way round.
• Sign-in links. For security, sign-in links now expire after 10 minutes. A link that your email provider's security scanner opened first still signs you in.
• Any Notion link works. Database links copied from app.notion.com are accepted when creating an automation.

Google Contacts syncing just got more powerful.

Three big improvements:

• Granular address fields. Sync street, city, state, zip, and country as separate Notion properties instead of one combined address field. Filter and sort your contacts by location.
• Email, phone, and address labels. Labels like "Work", "Home", and "Mobile" now sync as their own fields, so you always know which number is which.
• Smarter address parsing. Single-line addresses, region names like "California" or "Ontario", and country codes in any format are now parsed correctly.

Also in this release:

• Message ID field for Gmail and Outlook Mail syncs.
• Simplified billing page with a single button to manage your subscription.
• Clearer field names. "Description" is now "Notes/Description", and "Street" is now "Line 1".

Outlook now syncs with Notion.

Three new integrations:

• Calendar. Events flow both ways between Outlook Calendar and Notion databases.
• Contacts. Keep your Outlook contacts in sync with Notion.
• Mail. Save email threads and messages from Outlook to Notion.

Two new integrations: Gmail → Notion (one-way) and Google Contacts ↔ Notion (two-way).

Both follow the same onboarding flow as existing 2sync automations: connect, choose a Notion database, set filters, map fields, and start syncing.

Gmail → Notion

Bring emails into Notion for triage, collaboration, and tracking without changing how you use Gmail.

Mappable fields: Subject, preview/snippet, sender, recipients, CC, BCC, labels, email ID, Gmail URL, received date, threading helpers (parent/previous/next message), sync metadata. Attachments sync as a list of file names and sizes; the files themselves stay in Gmail.

Filters and settings: Choose mailboxes and categories (Inbox, Starred, Important, Social, etc.), limit by timeframe, set sync frequency. Conservative deletion by default (un-sync instead of hard delete), with an option to allow true deletion from Notion.

Google Contacts ↔ Notion

Turn Notion into a lightweight CRM or keep existing pages in sync with Google Contacts.

Mappable fields: First/last name, nickname, emails, phone numbers, addresses, country, job title, birthday, description/notes, photo, labels/tags, contact URL, person ID, sync metadata.

Filters and settings: Set sync frequency, optionally add Notion links in Google Contacts description for cross-navigation, include historical Notion entries, ignore already-linked items to avoid duplicates. Conservative deletion by default.

2sync relaunched with a major platform update.

What's new:

• Multiple automations. New plans support up to 10 active automations, so you can sync across several services at once.
• New calendar properties. Customize event color, track response status, trigger deletion on Google Calendar, and sync attendees between Notion workspace members (People) and contacts (Relation).
• Sync direction options. Choose two-way sync, one-way from Notion to calendar, or one-way from calendar to Notion. Map formula and rollup values to any compatible field.
• More default Notion value types. Status, Relation, People, and Page Emoji are now supported as default values.
• Advanced sync settings. Set a sync timeframe of up to 2 years, choose the default event duration when no end date is set in Notion, and sync as often as every 2 minutes.
• Todoist and Google Tasks integrations announced for release by end of June 2023.
